BRYAN S CLASS NEWS



This red folder is your childs Take Home
Folder. It will come home every day filled
with important papers and some of your
childs work. It will need to be returned
every day. Please make sure to sign the
daily behavior chart and review how your
childs day was each day.
Each week you will find a newsletter filled
with information about your childs week.
Please read through it and talk to your
child about his or her week and what they
have participated in.

Dean Road celebrates and acknowl-
edges good character. This is very impor-
tant in our classroom. This past week we
learned about perseverance. Every week
1 student in our class will win the STAR
award for showing that weeks character
trait.
Our STAR AWARD winner for perseverance

Important Dates!
September 8: PTO meeting @ 6:00pm
September 12: All Pro Dads-6:30-7:30am
September 19: Fall Picture Day
September 26: Rocket Run Pep Rally
October 3: Rocket Run (times TBA)

Request from Dr. Greenwood:
Please do not drop your child off at school
before 7:15. This interferes with the bus pro-
cedures.
If you are checking your child out of school,
please do so before 2:15 otherwise you will
get blocked in by the buses.

What are we learning this week?
Reading: We are continuing our reading series
and will begin focusing on skills, specific letters,
and word wall words. Our letters are Mm and Ss.
Our skills are asking and answering questions, la-
beling, making connections, retelling, blending,
and reading poetry. We will be learning the
word wall words: the, we.
Math: We will be learning about shapes.
Discovery: We will be learning about apples and
fall.

Please practice your childs lunch number with
your child!
