The Kindergarten classes will take a field trip to Walter's Pumpkin Patch on October 16th, leaving school at 8:30am and returning around 2:30pm. Pumpkin Patch!!

Thursday, October 16

Kindergarten classes will be
taking a field trip to Walters
Pumpkin Patch! We are
scheduled to be there at 9:30 a.m.
We will be leaving the school at
8:30 a.m. and will return around
2:30. The cost of the trip is $6.00
per student/per adult. Please be
sure to have permission slips
and money turned in to me by
Friday, October 3rd!!! If you
have any other questions, I will be
happy to answer them!! The sign-
up sheet is posted outside the
classroom if you would like to
volunteer!

Letter H Week!
This week we will learn about the
letter H!! We will learn that H
says h as in hat. We will also
learn the correct formation of
both the capital and lowercase H.
Tonight, go around your house
with your child and find all the
things that start with the sound
of H! Remember, Fridays
show & tell will be things that
begin with the letters H!!





Journal Writing
We have been working hard and
writing in our ABC journals over
the past few weeks. We are
learning to spell things
phonetically, which means they
will write the word how it sounds
to them. By doing this, it really
teaches them to listen for the
sound each letter makes in each
word.
Science
We have been learning about each
of the four seasons over the past
few weeks. We have talked about
what happens during each
season. The students have
weather books that they have
been working hard at and
drawing awesome pictures! Cant
wait for you to see them!
