Fifth Grade

Hudson Elementary



Week of September 15, 2014
Reading
Fifth grade will continue reading Double Dutch.
Spelling lists will come home on Monday and the
test will be on Friday. Students nightly reading
log will need to be handed in on Friday.

Math
Any unfinished math class work will become
homework. Students need to return math
homework the next day. Fifth grade Math will be
continue to explore various ways to multiply two
digit numbers and begin investigating division.

Science
This week 5
th
grade will continue to look at the
properties of matter.

Writing/Grammar
This week we will focus on editing, revising, and
the parts of speech.

Dates to remember/Reminders:

*Kids need to arrive at school no later than 7:40
in order to eat breakfast.

*Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up!
Please make sure you have returned the
conference sheet that went home last week.
