Yin Corner
LOCATION
2 cun inferior to Qichong ST-30 on the
anterior border of m. adductor longus.
LOCATION NOTE
i. Qichong ST-30 is located on the lower abdomen, 2 cun
lateral to the midline, level with the superior border of the
pubic symphysis (Qugu REN-2); ii. The tendon of origin
of adductor longus arises from the pubic bone and is
identified as the most prominent tendon in the groin.
NEEDLING
Perpendicular or oblique insertion 0.5 to 1.5 cun.
ACTIONS
Benefits the uterus
INDICATIONS
Infertility, irregular menstruation, pain in the inner
thigh and knee.
COMMENTARY
Many classical texts recommend moxibustion at this
point for the treatment of infertility.
