Student Experiences:
1. Select two volunteers to read the first page of the role-play activity (in
resources).
2. Select two different volunteers to read the second page of the role-play
activity (in resources).
3. Generate a class discussion about the strategies and techniques that were
used in the second role-play and how these made a big difference from
the outcome of the first text.
4. Watch a video to remind students of the threats pollution creates for
animals.

5. Guide the class in collaboratively responding to the scenario task 1 in a
short persuasive essay (in resources).
Include:
- Introduction, main points in new paragraphs and conclusion.
