CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PLAN:

CLASS DOJO
HOW I WI L L US E I T
A management plan that I will
implement in my classroom is Dojo.
Class Dojo is an application that is free
to download on any computer, tablet
or Smartphone. Class Dojo is a helpful
tool that helps teachers improve
students behavior. Parents and
administers can also track students
daily behavior. Depending on what
grade I teach will help me make my
decision on how I will work Dojo in my
classroom. If I teach in the primary
grade levels I will be responsible for
taking and giving points. Dojo will be
downloaded on a tablet and I will have
the tablet as I teach and monitor
students behavior. If I teach
intermediate grades the students will
be in charge of their own points. If a
child is focused and following
directions the student will go to the
teachers computer or classroom tablet
to give themselves their point and vice
versa. The reason why I like Dojo is
because the students and their
guardian(s) can see exactly how they
are gaining or losing points throughout
the day. Class Dojo starts over daily.
The child with the MOST positive points
at the end of each day will be able to
pick out of the classroom treasure
chest. If a child or children end the day
in the negative a red note will be sent
home explaining what the child did
wrong and the note will need to be
signed and brought back the following
day. If a child(s) are continually in the
negative a parent teacher conference
may be set up, the child may sit out of
recess, or may be sent to the office for
further discipline.
