Neuro Hermeneutic Programming

Neuro-hermeneutic programming is a hybrid of neuro-linguistic programming as developed by bandler and grinder, and my Critical Thomist Jurisprudence. A person's mind can be structured by the Critical Thomist notion of "Substantial Form," and that this has a real effect upon the mind.

Neuro-hermeneutic programming is a hybrid of Neuro-linguistic programming

as developed by Bandler and Grinder, and my Critical Thomist Jurisprudence. Neuro

means “neurological” while hermeneutic stands for “meaning.” While Bandler and

Grinder’s original work in neuro-linguistic programming is valuable, it is not enough.

Bandler and Grinder used a relativist ethic in their programming and were not really

concerned with meaning.

I argue, for example that a person can be neuro-hermeneutically programming so

that his or her mind is structured by the Critical Thomist notion of “Substantial Form,”

and that this has a real effect upon the mind. Substantial Form stabilizes the mind and

makes it more reasonable. Of course other uses of neuro-hermeneutic programming can

be developed. For example, the Ethical Matrix, an ethical decision making tool can be

programmed in a person’s mind so that person is more ethical. I will try and write some

further essays later with other examples of neuro-hermeneutic programming.
