EST: 3-SDU Version 5.02 Software
Release
Introduction
Version 5.02 of the 3-SDU software is released and available for download from
our Web site. This update is required to support the new EST3X system. The
update contains new application code for the EST3 CPU (3-CPU), as well as the
EST3X CPU (C-CPU). EST3 systems will not work with EST3X systems until the
application code has been updated in EST3. Additional features and functionality
are outlined in the software release notes.
Download instructions
1. Go to https://est.edwardsutcfs.com/catalog/login/
2. Sign in using your personal ID number and password.
3. In the Search Downloads box, type 3-SDU Version 5.02, and then click GO.
4. Download the software (3-sdu v5 02.zip).
Under Software, click Download, and then click Save.
In the Save As dialog box, create a new folder named 3-SDU V5.02 Install,
click Open, and then click Save.
5. Download the release notes (270729 r04 3-sdu version 5 02 release
notes.pdf).
Under Software Release Notes, click Download, and then save the file to the
3-SDU V5.02 Install folder.
Installation instructions
1. Open the 3-SDU V5.02 Install folder.
2. Read the software release notes.

3. Extract the files from 3-SDU_V5.02.zip into the 3-SDU V5.02 Install folder.
4. Follow the instructions provided in the software release notes, under section
7, Installing and upgrading to 3-SDU 5.02.
