The demand for engineering and engineering technology graduates will continue to grow since many engineering technology graduates are recognized as engineers by their employers. Both fields play a key role in providing better solutions for future generations by solving technical problems through applying scientific principles. Environmental engineering technologists work closely with engineers and scientists to develop methods and devices for preventing and correcting environmental hazards, such as inspecting equipment and systems that affect air and water pollution control.

Future

The demand for both

engineering and
engineering technology
graduates will keep on
growing. Since, high
percentage of engineering
technology graduates are
recognized as engineers by
their employers , so it
would not slow or block the
growth of of both field
graduates. Both of the
field plays key role in
providing better solutions
for next coming generation.

Engineering technologists use the principles and
theories of science, engineering, and mathematics
to solve technical problems in research and
development, manufacturing, sales, construction,
inspection, and maintenance. Their work is more
limited in scope and more practically oriented
than that of engineers.
Environmental engineering technologists work closely
with environmental engineers and scientists in developing
methods and devices used in the prevention, control, or
correction of environmental hazards. They inspect and
maintain equipment affecting air pollution and recycling.
Some inspect water and wastewater treatment systems
to ensure that pollution control requirements are met.
