Textbooks
Students will NOT be issued a Geometry textbook unless
it is requested by a parent. A large portion of our work
this year will come from notes taken in class, using the
book, but most of the Home Learning will be typed or
copied worksheets that will not come from the textbook.
The textbook can be used as a resource, however, and
students may have access to a book if requested. If you
have any questions or concerns, please contact me as
soon as possible.
Make Up Work
- Makeup work is the responsibility of the student.
You will be given one day for every day that you
are absent to complete missed assignments or tests.
- Any notes taken on that day can be acquired from a
classmate, but you must take the initiative and
ask for them.
- A mark of absence will go down in the gradebook
for a missed quiz, but it will not count against you
unless you fail to make it up in a timely manner.
- Any test missed will be made up before or after
school & not during the class period. Please make
special arrangements with me in order to make up a
test. If you fail to make up a test during the
specified time period, it will result in a zero.
- If you know that you are going to be absent for any
reason, it is your responsibility to come see me
BEFORE you miss class and pick up any make-up
assignments.
