Cancer Awareness Projectflyer

According to a survey, 42% of deaths in people under 75 years old in South Tyneside, England are due to cancer, which is higher than other parts of the country. The most common cancers causing these deaths are lung cancer, bowel cancer, and breast cancer. In order to address this issue, South Tyneside Public Health is starting a Cancer Awareness Project to help people detect early signs of cancer and understand why some may be reluctant to seek help from their doctor when noticing potential symptoms. They provided a brief questionnaire to collect information on what people already know about cancer, what would prompt them to seek help, and what may deter them from seeking help in order to help with the Cancer Awareness Project.
