DIRECTIONS: You will observe many children performing many different kinds of skills. Select 8 (or as many as you can) different tasks and describe how the high skilled students and the low skilled students are performing.
Task Higher Skilled Lower Skilled 1 Knock the cones over
Students were able to navigate around classmates in a safe manner and quickly knock down the cones in an efficient manner. Students were able to navigate around classmates but was frequently bumping into others. They didnt spend more time to knock down cones as they were not able to perform the skill as quickly 2 Set the cones up
Students were able to quickly identify cones that were knocked down and set them back up in a timely manner to move onto the next cone. They were able to bend down more quickly to grab the cones. Students did not pick up cones as quickly compared to their teammates. They took more time focusing on one cone before moving onto the next. 3 Dribbling the ball to their teammate and pass it
Students dribbled faster with more control to their teammates on the opposite side. They are faster and more coordinated. Students were not able to control the ball as effectively to pass it to their teammates. 4
