DIRECTIONS: You will observe many children performing many different kinds of skills. Select 8 (or as
many as you can) different tasks and describe how the high skilled students and the low skilled students are
performing.

Knock the cones over

Students were able to navigate
around classmates in a safe
manner and quickly knock down
the cones in an efficient manner.
Students were able to navigate
around classmates but was
frequently bumping into others.
They didnt spend more time to
knock down cones as they were
not able to perform the skill as
quickly

Set the cones up

Students were able to quickly
identify cones that were knocked
down and set them back up in a
timely manner to move onto the
next cone. They were able to bend
down more quickly to grab the
cones.
Students did not pick up cones as
quickly compared to their
teammates. They took more time
focusing on one cone before
moving onto the next.

Dribbling the ball to their
teammate and pass it

Students dribbled faster with more
control to their teammates on the
opposite side. They are faster and
more coordinated.
Students were not able to control
the ball as effectively to pass it to
their teammates.
