Bakersfield Police Department

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for multiple counts of check fraud. This suspect has used a fake driver's license and counterfeit checks to make numerous purchases at large stores like Target and Wal-Mart. The police released a surveillance photo of the suspect from an incident at a Target store on November 4, 2009, as well as a photo of the fake driver's license used during that offense. Anyone with information about the suspect's identity is asked to contact Detective Watts.

For Immediate Release December 22, 2009

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in


identifying a suspect wanted for multiple counts of check fraud. This suspect has
used a fake driver’s license and counterfeit checks to make numerous purchases
at larger stores such as Target and Wal-Mart. The attached surveillance image
was captured on 11/4/09 during an offense at Target, 11000 Stockdale Highway.
The smaller photo is depicted on the driver license he used during this particular
offense.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is encouraged to


call Detective Watts at 326-3504.
