Automation of Jewellery Shop

Introduction
The Automation of Jewellery shop will be measured with purchasing and selling of
Jewellery shop. Current Jewellery shop provides the details of overall business transactions
but they do not provide easy way information on sells/purchase in and sells/purchase out.
Again Jewellery shop is using written document but it is very time expensive and can't report
generated short time. It cant be provided when it is needed. In this Automation of Jewellery
shop that will be solved above mentioned problem.
Motivation
In an ideal situation, Automation of Jewellery shop will follow the steps and rules to
meet user requirements on demand and on time. Apart from this it will remove the difficulties
faced by the admin to manage their shop and can be easily handled by the admin without any
technical knowledge of the platform used and about the system. Through this Automation of
Jewellery shop employees working under a particular shop can be easily managed and overall
transactions of particular date and time can easily be viewed.
The current Jewellery shop does not provide the method to back up the database
which is very important for any business transactions; another important matter is security
system that is very essential for business. Current Jewellery shop provides the details of
overall business transactions but they do not provide information on sells/purchase in and
sells/purchase out. By using this technique shop manager can use their business strategy such
as cost cutting method for their business process to gain maximum profit.

Proposed system
The aim of this project is to evaluate the efficient and efficacy of developing
Jewellery shop so that business transactions are easy. To do this a simple set of tables will be
identified from those in use at a database. These tables will be explored and mapped. Queries
will be aimed at accessing data in its native environment.
Environment
This project will be entail examining the use of xampp or lampp or wamp local server
hosted database system. Xampp or wamp is a window based local server. Lampp is a linux
based local server.

Through this new Automation of Jewellery shop managers can easily handle their
shop and business transactions by accessing a single or multiple windows. This Jewellery
shop will have Utilities, Transactions and Report generations menus. Utilities section will
deal with backing up databases either on daily basis, timely basis, monthly basis etc. as set by
the admin, adding new employee, deleting new employee, managing existing employee
details, adding new customer, adding and deletions of new supplier, changing the password,
categorize different Jewellery items etc.
Transaction will deal with accounting part of this business scenario. It will provide
information on sales, purchase, Cash In and Cash Out associated with this business process.
Generating report by accessing information stored in database is another important
feature of this system. This Jewellery shop will able to generate as per user requirement in
user friendly manner. User does not require any technical details to generate reports. They
have to submit their requirements by using different options available. This section will able
to generate reports on sales, purchase, Cash In and Cash Out between a given time interval. If
the date option will not be used, it will generate report from the starting date of business to
the current date. However user can refine their query by using any specific date and time.

New Feature
New feature added in Automation of Jewellery shop is SMS system. When a customer
give order different items to the shop, after the order finished sending a SMS to the
customer's mobile number automatically. In the same way delivery order, Cash In or Cash
Out to send SMS from server.
Implementation
Front end needed HTML, CSS .Language will be used PHP, JavaScript Ajax and
Jquery. Database MYSQL will be also needed.
Deliverables
This project will produce a different type of report such as Customized order report,
Readymade sales report, due report, Customer details, Employee details, maker bill report
etc. User types: Admin, Employee. Also produce print, database backup, restore etc.

Conclusion
The system Automation of Jewellery shop will be deal with purchase and sales
processing of Jewellery shop. This system will be developed to satisfy all the proposed
requirements. The process of recording will details about supplier, item, Billing and
customers is more simple and easy. The system will be reduced the possibility of errors to a
great extent and maintains the data in an efficient manner.
