The Preamble:
The first few words of the preamble!
We the people of the United States,in
Order to form a more perfect union,
establish Justice, Insure domestic
Tranquility, Provide for the common
defence, promote the general welfare and
secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves.

The Constitution:
-The u.s constitution is a remarkable new
document.
-Is the supreme law of the united states of
america.
-It was developed in america.

How are government was formed


-Are government was formed by the
founding fathers.
-Are government was formed by the
declaration of independence.

What the bill of rights are:


-The bill of rights are the first ten
amendments.
-some people did not want to sign
the constitution until they put the bill of
rights in.
-these amendments protect the individual
rights of people.

Citizens Rights
1.Freedom of speech and religion
2.rights to protect self and and own guns
3.soldiers cant barge in and live with you
4.police must have a good reason to search your home
5.get a fair trial, dont have to say anything against yourself
6.quick trial and lawyer
7.jury during civil cases
8.punishment must fit crime
9.you have rights
10.states have government power

Citizens Responsibilities
1.you have to use character with your words being respectful of
others religions and choices
2.using it appropriately
3.can be respectful of soldiers and help in anyway you can
4.dont give the police a reason to search your house
5.be truthful!
6.show up to work dont be late!!
7.serve on the jury
8.dont commit crimes, but if you do serve the crime
9.use the rights and responsibilities
10.follow the states laws

ruled by more than one
person.
-ruled by government and
president.
-presidents rule for 4 to 8
years.

-monarchy is a ruled by one
person.
-ruled by king or queen.
-monarchs rule for life until
they die.

Fun Facts

-During World War 1,the United states


wanted to rename hamburgers to liberty
sandwiches to promote patriotism.
-A $5 bill with Santa Claus on it was once
legal.
-No US president has lived and died without
a new state being added in their lifetime!
