RATIONALE FOR PRACTICE

TEACHING

Practice Teaching is an integral component of teacher training. It grants


student teachers experience the actual teaching and learning environment.
Through practice teaching, students may experience on how to handle and
manage a real world situation in school settings. Likewise, it prepares student
teacher in making the transition of being a trainee to professional teachers.
Practice teaching aims to establish the ways in which these experiences
influence the student teachers' perception of the teaching profession. With the help
of this training, students would be more competent and versatile to the changes in
educational system.
Practice teaching played an important part in our development as teachers
by providing a context wherein they could merge theory and practice find our own
teaching and management styles as well as cope with the demands of multitasking that being in a classroom demands
