LESSON PLAN: ABILITIES (USE OF CAN CANT)

ACTIVITY N 1

You are going to see a video of myself and my classmates rehearsing one of the choreographies on
my dance club. The style is called locking. Identify which steps can you or cannot see on the video,
write on your copybook at least 3 moves. This is a reference video to know the name of the
moves.

ACTIVITY N 5

Hot Potatoes!
This activity is a game. The whole class including the teacher should form a circle. One person will
have a ball in their hands, and it would throw it to a classmate doing a question relating with some
ability. First, the classmate do the question, example: Can you dance salsa? Then, he or she does
the question to a classmate, and throw the ball; she or he receives the ball and answers: yes I can,
or no, I cant. Now, this classmate should think in another question to throw the ball to a
classmate, in this moment, time is passing (classmates start counting) and you have 7 seconds to
answer, you need to have the ball in your hands the less possible time, remember that the ball is a
really hot potatoe! And if you pass the 7 seconds without an answer and question you will get
burned!

Activity 7
Listen to the story that the teacher will tell you.
Last summer I travelled to Laguna de la plata, have you ever heard about it? Well, it is located in
the VIII region in the mountain range near to San Fabian. To get there we had to walk a lot, and
also we had to do trekking, so now I can say that I can do trekking! Look at this picture, this is me
doing trekking.

Also, this year I was asked to be the queen of a team in colegio salesiano, and I was asked to
dance in front of everybody. I had to learn how to dance Opa Gangnam style and it was difficult
at the beginning but finally I learned how to do it, so now I can say that I can dance!

After listening:
