3) A girl travels with the speed of 6km/h for 2h and with the speed of 4km/h for the next 3h. Find the

average speed of the girl and the total distance covered.

(Ans: 4.8km/h)

4) A bus travels a distance 120 km with a speed of 40 km/h and returns with speed of 30km/h. Calculate

the average speed for the entire journey.

(Ans: 34.29km/h)

5) A train travels the first 15km at a uniform speed of 30km/h; the next 75km at a uniform speed of

50km/h; and the last 10 km at a uniform speed of 20km/h. Calculate the average speed for the entire
train journey.
(Ans: 25km/h)
