WORK TO BE DONE:
1. With the aid of a table designed as follows, determine the total power taken at the
point A of the installation: (P, Q and S)taken.

2. Deduce the powers (P, Q and S) available at the point A, assuming a global
simultaneity factor of 0.8 at A.
3. With the aid of a table, determine the total powers (P, Q and S) taken at the point
B.
4. Deduce the powers (P,Q and S) available at the point B assuming a global
simultaneity factor of 0.85 at B.
5. Determine the total power to be subscribed at the point C assuming a total
simultaneity factor of 0.78 for the whole installation and that the network may be
extended by 35% in the years to come (ke= 1.35).
6. Deduce the power factor of the workshop. Is it admissible? If not propose a
solution to correct it (calculate the value of the capacitor or the characteristics of
the synchronous compensator).
7. Give the characteristics of the transformer T (use Annex1)
8. Give the characteristics of the circuit breakers CB1, CB2 and CB3 (Ref, Number
of poles, Pdc). Use Annex2.
