Non Powered Tools

Control measures to reduce risks when using non-powered tools include selecting the suitable tool for the job, regularly inspecting tools for defects, properly storing and cleaning tools, and providing training on their safe use. Workers should use tools made of suitable materials, the correct size and type for the task. Tools should be inspected regularly for damage or defects and stored securely when not in use to prevent unauthorized access. Training is important, especially for young or specialist workers, to ensure safe operation of tools.
