That, I, hereby, declare that, I am aware of the directives of the Honourable Supreme Court
of India on anti-ragging, as well as the prevalent laws/ rules etc., on anti-ragging,
prescribed by Govt. of India, State of Assam and other states, and the Institute authorities.
That, I, understand the meaning of ragging and know that the ragging in any form is a
punishable offence and the same is banned by the Court of Law.
That, I have not been found involved or charged for any involvement in any kind of
ragging in the past. However, I also understand that, in case I am involved in ragging, the
case will be reported to the police and the law will take its own course and I will be liable
for such punishment as may be deemed fit and proper by concerned authorities.
That, I, shall not resort to ragging in any form in any place and shall abide by the
rules/laws prescribed by the Courts, Government of India and the Institute Authorities for
the purposes from time to time.
