PTA Board
Happy New Year!
Its the beginning of a new term and the Parent Teacher Association would
like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy New Year.
Thank you to all those attended our PTA meetings last year and thank you
to all our volunteers who made our events so successful; we appreciate your
time and commitment and we couldnt have done it without you.
We had lots going on last term with a fantastically successful Christmas
Fayre and this term is going to be equally busy with the organisation of a
pamper evening and also a valentines school disco and magic show. Both
events will be in February. More information about these events will follow
soon.
If you still would like to be involved with the PTA we can be contacted by
twitter, facebook, email and face-to-face. We also have a PTA notice board
on the main corridor within school and we will be regularly updating the
notice board outside the school office.

On December 6th we held our Christmast Fayre at school, which was very well attended. We had great support from the
community with lots of fantastic raffle prizes and managed to raise 1250! These funds will be used to purchase a
much-needed PA system for the school - a very welcome addition for assemblies and performances!

Design the PTA Logo Competition!

Fundraising Total So Far

Calling all creatives! Can you design a simple, eye-catching logo? A logo is a
design, which symbolises an organisation. It is used on letterheads, advertising
materials and signs as an emblem or simple visual mark by which the
organisation can easily be recognised.
The Croft Primary School PTA doesnt have a logo and we desperately need
your help! Draw your design in the box on the next page (you might want to
practice it first) and return it to your teacher by 13th February.

We are looking for a fun, eye-catching and inspiring logo that represents who
we are; parent, staff, grandparent, carer or member of the local community,
and what we do, by providing our schools with that little bit extra to enhance
our childrens future.
First prize winner will receive a xxxx and have their logo displayed on all our
printed letters and posters.
Second prize winner will receive xxxx.
Third prize winner will receive xxxx.

Spring Term

Terms and Conditions of Entry:


1. The competition is open to all children in all classes at the Croft Primary School.
2. Entries must be received no later than Friday 13th February 2015.
3. Entries must be designed by the children only. No colouring in by anyone over the age of 7, yes, we mean you!
4. Only one entry per child please. The entry must have the childs name and class clearly printed on the front.
5. There will be three prizes. The overall winner will be awarded a xxx. There will be two runner-up prizes of xxxx.
6. The PTA will judge the winning entry.
7. All artwork will become the property of Croft Primary School PTA and may be used in, or altered for promotional material.
8. The winning child and runner ups will have their prize presented to them before the end of the school term in assembly.

stall at our Pamper Party in February. If you know of anyone who would be interested in hosting a stall please contact
