Approved drawing for battery rack and cell arrangement is vailable


Civil work and acid resistant floor as per drawing is completed and area is clear from debris
Battery Room is well ventilated
Battery rating and type is verified
Battery racks are installed as per drawing and anchored properly to floor
Check the tightness of battery rack
Check the alignment of battery rack
Polarity of cells are checked
No physical damage observed on batteries
Cell terminals are cleaned
Batteries are arranged in number wise and rack wise according to approved drawing
Inter cell, inter tier links are done
All exposed terminals and links are caped using manufacturer provided caps
Adequate seperation as per approved drawing shall be provided between the cells for cooling purpose (For VRLA)

Inter cell, inter row cablings for VRLA cells are done with appproved cable size or manufacturer supplied cable
Terminal connections tightened/torqued properly as per vendor specification.
Inter rack cabling & cable from isolation box to battery bank is complete
A layer of anti oxidant grease recommended by manufacturer is applied on battery terminals
