Again

Indwelling of Christ

1. The Lord forewarned the disciples of this major


change, John 14:18-20.
2. Indwelling is for fellowship, Gal 2:20, Rom 8:10,
Col 1:27, Eph 3:17-19.
3. The Spirit indwells to teach, guide, direct,
empower, Jn 14:26, 16:8-11, Rom 8:11, 1 Cor 6:1920.
4. Fellowship with the Lord is a by product of
walking with the Spirit, Jn 6:63, 8:31-32, Col 3:16.
5. Fellowship stops due to negativity towards the
Word of God, 2 Cor 13:5.
6. The Lord will knock on the door of the soul,
open it by confession, 1 Jn 1:9, Rev 3:19-20

Sealing

Baptism

1. We are entered into union with Christ by the

3:12.
5. This was promised by the Lord, Jn 14:19-20,
Acts
1:5. It did not occur before, Col 1:25-26.
6. It has no specific gifts associated, 1 Cor 12:1113

Position in Christ

1. We have a new position eternally in Him,


Eph 2:69, 4:6.
2. We are never alone in fellowship with Him;
John

3. We are in his service, 2 Cor 3:9, 1:9, 6:1
4. We are ministers of the new covenant, with
a new message to mankind, 1 Cor 3:6, 6:4.
