Walk TEST.: Rollout

The document provides guidance for various network testing procedures: 1. A walk test is described as disconnecting GPS and connecting two measurement systems to load a cell file and clear map data before starting from the basement to pinpoint and walk around an indoor site while checking for proper cell camping and radio parameters. 2. When first connecting a TEMS device, if not detected, check that cables are properly connected and install drivers, which may need to be refreshed several times from the equipment configuration window before the device will appear. 3. For a rollout, verifying NCT data is important, checking details like HSN and MAIOs, making sure to have the correct cell file and tab file configured along with

Rollout

Walk TEST.
When you go for Walk test, its for indoor site, you simply disconnect GPS, connect
both MSs, and load cell file but erase all data i.e. MAP window is cleared. After that
you start lets from basement i.e. pinpointing (this is also called file marking) start
walking to cover that whole area.
While doing Walk test just keep in mind you have to check that your cell is
camped on that specific site (cell name and cell ID), in idle and dedicated as
well.
Also LAC, CI have to be same as in cell file and showing in radio parameters.

Connecting TEMS first time.

When we connect TEMS very first time then if there is no detection by system then
there may be cable issue i.e. not properly connected, after that install the drivers, it
will repeat this procedure five to six times to complete it, then just refresh it from
the equipment configuration windows, it will appear it that window then connect the
device.
Rollout
In Rollout (New Site Testing) you have to verify NCT data, it is more important task
of rollout. I.e. HSN, MAIOs etc.
First of all when u have workspace in front of you then you must have cell file
and tab file with you so that you can configure maps and cell IDs etc.
If you have cell file with you but you dont have that specific site information
then you must have NCT & TSS detail with you so that you can get the exact
data of that particular site.
There may be call blocking in the sector, so while doing intra site HO there
may be issue.

Call Muting.
Call Blocking.
Call Dropped.
