Basic Trig Identities

This document lists various trigonometric identities involving sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, secant and cosecant functions. Some key identities included are: cosine squared x plus sine squared x equals 1; secant squared x minus tangent squared x equals 1; tangent of x equals sine of x over cosine of x; and cosine of x minus y equals cosine of x cosine of y plus sine of x sine of y.
