Circle time this week I would like to


continue reviewing what we have
covered in past lessons.

I will also continue with their


favourites like the twist song and the
Macarena.

Activity this week we will begin with can and cant verbs. I will begin
with identifying action verbs using flashcards and get them familiar with
the actions.
Action verbs:
Run
Walk
Swim
Dance
Sing
Fly
Eat
Drink

Phonics

Once they have that I will begin asking them if they can do these actions
and prompting them with the correct response. yes I can no I cant I
can jump I cant fly

I would like to play dancing games


with them as I havent done that yet.
Musical statues and musical chairs

Review
This week we will do another quick
review of the letter sounds using
our songs and games. We will also
play the beginning sounds game
we first played last week, were the
team who can find the most words
beginning with sounds wins.

New (letters/sounds/vocabulary)
This week we will be doing the og(log, dog, fog, jog) word family. We will do our usual routine of
writing the words on the board and draw pictures to illustrate the meaning of the words. Then we
will play a matching game to match the words to their beginning sounds.

Writing Practice
We wont be doing any writing
practice this week.
