World Works

Reflections:
Last week we carried out our Summative Assessment. All KG2 classes were engaged with a
variety of experiments which gave students the opportunity to change a state of matter
from one form to another. Students have also been demonstrating the Learner Profile
Balanced, when making choices inside and outside of school, by understanding how
these actions affect themselves and those that are around them.

Learning Engagements:
Language: This week we will continue to work on our emergent reading skills, with a
focus on how to write a sentence and applying our phonics knowledge.
Math: This week will continue to work on numeracy and number writing, creating
and extending complex patters and addition and subtraction number stories.
Social Studies/Science: This week we will be reflecting on our current Unit of Inquiry.
We will be using our writing and observation skills to write about the knowledge that
we gained when changing states of matter.
