Re-Drafting Descriptive Writing

This descriptive writing checklist reminds writers to include various literary devices such as alliteration, personification, similes, and metaphors. It also prompts the writer to use imagery, varied sentence structures, descriptive adjectives, correct punctuation, dialogue formatting, and engaging sensory details. The checklist concludes by suggesting the writer have someone proofread their work and use a thesaurus to expand their vocabulary.
