February 15-19

Literacy Inquiry:

This week we will continue reviewing letters and


will be introducing the sight words can and
me. The kids will be working on their journals
for sounding out words and working on many
activities to review and assess what they have
learned.

Math Inquiry:
Dear Parents:
I hope you all had a wonderful
weekend. Last week the kids
enjoyed celebrating the 100th
day of school! Thank you for all
your support in making this day
special.

Unit of Inquiry:
Central Idea: The interdependence of
insects and other living things impact our
environment. This week we will be reviewing
what we have been learning about insects and
interdependence. We will be working on the
positive and negative impacts of different
insects on our lives and on the environment.

In math, the kids will review math concepts.

will be introducing the concept of
weight. (which is heavier or lighter).

Library day:

No library day this week
