Dear Ms. Jennifer Gooding,
I am writing to express my strong interest in the SACS position at Arizona State University West Campus. I am currently a Junior at ASU West and will be graduating with honors in the Spring of 2017 with two degrees, in Theology and Secondary Education Spanish. I am very interested in joining your team and applying my creativity, hard work ethic, and organizational skills to an impressive group like SACS. My interest in helping the community and expanding the knowledge of the younger generations has led me to pursue my degree. It has given me the opportunity to learn what it takes to be a great instructor and also be an example for those who are around me. Besides my education, I enjoy working on team projects as well, which I firmly believe that team building is efficient and necessary for individual growth. I have a strong capacity for allocating resources, multi-tasking, and managing projects under tight semester deadlines. As a volunteer for the Parish of St. John Vianney and as a member for the National Residence Hall Honorary at ASU West, I have worked on my ability of how to better serve the community. In my volunteer work, I have actually held leadership positions, helping organize and run events, mainly at my home Parish of St. John. I was held responsible for the setup of events and would make sure that everything would run smoothly. I feel that my experience, through volunteer work, has helped prepare me for a position with SACS. I am confident that my organizational skills and willingness to serve the ASU West community will make a real difference in SACS, while allowing me to gain crucial and valuable experience in the process. I have attached a resume with further information about my educational and extracurricular background. I look forward to hearing from you and further discussing this opportunity. Thank you for your time and attention.
