Passive Voice

This document provides instructions for changing sentences from active to passive voice in Spanish. To make the change, the object of the active sentence becomes the subject of the passive sentence. The verb "to be" is used in the same tense as the active verb and is followed by the past participle form of the main verb. Examples are given to illustrate how to transform sentences between active and passive voice for different verb tenses.

LA VOZ PASIVA

Para pasar de una frase activa a una pasiva debemos:


Poner el objeto de la frase activa y ponerlo como sujeto en la pasiva
Observar en que tiempo est el verbo de la frase activa. Lo nico que
se debe hacer es colocar el verbo to be en el mismo tiempo verbal que
en la frase activa y aadirle el verbo en past participle (-ed/3 columna)
