Read Across America Day!
The Kindergarten classes really enjoy exploring the
different Dr. Seuss books. One of the ways to get

This is a great time to practice making rhyming words
with your student, looking for rhyming words in the
story, and classifying the word as a real or nonsense
word.

5 Star Club
We really encourage independence in Kindergarten.
We really want your child to be part of the 5 Star Club!
Heres how to be in the club: The student must
successfully know: their address (including city and
state), birthday (including the year), phone number
(with area code), write their first and last name
correctly, and tie their shoes.
When your child is ready, have them talk to their
teacher about it. Once they are in the club, they will
make a crown and announce their achievement to the
whole school on the morning announcements!

Club 5 Estrellas:
Realmente alentamos el ser independiente en el Knder.
Tenemos muchas ganas de que su nio(a) sea parte del
Club 5 Estrellas! Esta es la manera de como estar en el
club: El estudiante debe saber exitosamente: su direccin
(incluyendo ciudad y estado), fecha de nacimiento
(incluyendo el ao), nmero de telfono (con el cdigo de
rea), escribir su nombre y apellido correctamente, y
amarrarse las agujetas de los zapatos.
Cuando su nio(a) est listo, haga que el/ella hable con su
maestro(a) sobre ello. Una vez que estn en el club, hacen
una corona y anuncian su logro a toda la escuela en los
anuncios de la maana!
