Prolink Bridge Guide

This guide provides instructions for configuring a Prolink H5004n router in bridged mode by first accessing the router's web interface at 192.168.1.1, disabling the wireless and DHCP functions, setting the router to bridged mode, saving the changes, disconnecting the PC and connecting the router to the modem, and then restarting both devices.

This guide is for a Prolink H5004n in router mode.

First open a web browser


Type 192.168.1.1
User/pass adminpldt/1234567890
Now go to Wireless tab as seen here
Disable Wireless
Save or Apply Changes

Next Disable DHCP

Lastly set Wifi ADSL Router to Bridged mode

Note before exiting the GUI, you have to make the changes permanent.
There should be a prompt on the status page asking you to finalize these changes.
I cant post that portion since I cant afford an internet downtime.

After saving all configurations and checking na may internet na yung PC, disconnect PC
from Modem. Connect Router to Modem LAN port.
Restart both modem and Router.
