MindMeister Tutorial

This document provides instructions for sharing a MindMeister map with students in two ways: 1) By copying the URL link from the map and pasting it into the relevant course module in the learning management system. 2) By using the "Share this map" option within MindMeister to select a sharing setting (Private, Shared, or Public) and inviting people via email. Both methods allow instructors to easily share their concept maps with students.

How to share a map

Share via URL link


The easiest way to share a map with students is to create an URL link and
paste it into the relevant course module in Learn. Follow these steps:

Open the map you want to share


Copy the browser line
Open your course in Learn and select course module
Turn on editing
Select Add activity or resource and then select URL under RESOURCES
Paste link into text field

Share via option in MindMeister


You can also share a map via the share option in MindMeister.
1. Select the option Share this mapor Del dette map at the
bottom

2. Select one of the settings: Private, Shared or Public and click


Invite persons

3. Enter the email addresses of the people with whom you want to
share your map.
If you have a list with all students email addresses, you can send
invitation to a class. Notice that the invitation will end up in
individual mail boxes this way.

4. Click Invite
