MY TOWN

Some people say my town is boring and unexciting. They say, for example that there is only
one movie theater and the movies there are usually out of date or uninteresting for young
people, especially. We have only three restaurants a Mexican one, a Chinese one and an
Italian one. You can get American food there but it is usually plain and insipid. My school is
old and many of the classrooms need repairs. However the teachers are well prepared and
we learn a lot from them. There are no modern sports facilities. If we want to swim, we go to
the river. If we want to run, we run in the streets or roads.

2. I live in Calarc, which is a neighborhood in Ibague, this is a residential neighborhood and


there aren't big buildings in it but you can find a lot of parks full of trees, close to my house
there is one of the biggest avenues of the city, in this neighborhood is one of the biggest
supermarkets in the city: Mercacentro. Ibagu is a medium size city, many people may say
that is a boring city and there's not much to do here: there's only one cinema, and barely 4
malls, but about food you can find anything you want: international food, typical and exotic,
and a lot of kinds of fruits. Besides, this is The Music City and there are a lot of places
where you can listen, dance and enjoy all kinds of music: tropical, typical, folk, rock,
alternative and a lot more.
