Mrs. Yasmine and Ms. Reems super stars!

Dear Parents:
Happy Mothers Day!! Hope all
our super moms had an
amazing day!! This week we
have a full week of fun
activities. Lets have fun
learning.

Unit of Inquiry:
Central idea:
Exploring leads to discovery.
In this unit we will be
discussing that exploring with
our 5 senses leads to
discovering the world around
us.
This week we will continue to
focus on the sense of SIGHT
and HEAR by experimenting
with different activities.

Dont forget to join us for Math Night

Monday 6:00-7:30

Math Inquiry:
This week we will continue
exploring measuring everyday
objects, while using appropriate
vocabulary (empty, full, heavy,
light). We will also compare two
objects using attributes of
weight, and size (e.g. heavier,
same weight, same amount ).

Literacy Inquiry:
We are going to be practicing
with the formation of letter
K. We will create a kite and
other fun activities. Our new
sight words this week are in
and see.

Home Connection:
You can discuss with the
children the 5 senses and how
they can help us explore the
world. You can also compare
different objects around the
house and how their weight and
size are different!
