Distance Course - MARIS ECDIS900 familiarization training

Introduction
One of the challenges the industry faces is the multiply number of
ECDIS system and types available in the market. A shipping
company may as a result of this have several different systems in
their fleet. Hence, an officer that changes vessels frequently may
need system specific ECDIS familiarization training for many
different systems.
In this respect Seagull has developed a type specific ECDIS CBT
module for MARIS ECDIS900 together with MARIS.
This CBT module will provide all necessary understanding and
practical knowledge of how to operate the MARIS ECDIS900
system in a safe and efficient manner.
It has been designed to train navigators in the practical use and operation of the MARIS ECDIS900 and thereby
satisfy the requirement for Equipment Specific ECDIS Training.
For those who wish to receive a course diploma for equipment specific familiarization training on MARIS ECDIS900
Seagull has developed a distance course procedure.

Approvals
MARIS AS has approved the Seagull e-learning module # 4010 MARIS ECDIS900 as product specific ECDIS
familiarization for MARIS ECDIS900.
