Plans For Excel Charts

This lesson plan teaches students how to create charts and graphs in Excel by having them conduct a survey of their classmates, collect and interpret the data, and display it visually. The students will choose a question to survey their peers on, collect the answers, and then work in pairs to create a chart or graph in Excel to illustrate the results. The teacher will observe the students as they work to assess their understanding. At the end of the lesson, students may print one of their charts or graphs.
