Preparing for IGCSE Exercise 6 : Informal Letter Writing

Your school had a big cleaning day last month.


Write a letter to a friend telling him/her about it.
In your letter you should :
say where and when you had the big cleaning day;
tell your friend what kind of cleaning activities your class did
tell your friend why its important to keep our environment clean
Your letter should be between 100 and 150 words long. Do not write an
address.
You may use the pictures above to give you some ideas, but you are free to use
any ideas of your own.
You will receive up to 7 marks for the content of your letter and up to 6 marks for
the style and accuracy of your language.
