To
Whom
It
May
Concern:
I
am
writing
to
express
my
interest
in
being
a
member
of
your
community.
In
May,
I
will
graduate
with
honors
in
education
with
a
license
to
teach
prekindergarten
through
third
grade
and
an
endorsement
in
four
and
five.
I
will
be
taking
the
PRAXIS
Reading
test
in
April
to
prepare
me
to
teach
3rd
grade.
I
would
like
to
be
considered
for
any
future
teaching
positions
in
the
area
of
elementary.
In
addition
to
my
teaching
credentials,
please
note
that
I
have
several
years
of
experience
working
with
children
in
a
variety
of
educational
settings
including
Kent
Parks
and
Recreation
summer
camp,
4-H
camp,
parks
and
recreation
sports
camps,
Special
Olympics
clinics
and
safety
school.
These
experiences
have
strengthened
my
desire
to
teach
and
given
me
a
deeper
understanding
of
children.
I
have
made
extra
effort
to
expand
my
worldview
by
participating
in
a
mission
trip
to
New
Orleans,
traveling
abroad
to
France
and
hosting
two
foreign
exchange
students.
These
experiences
have
changed
my
perspective
and
will
enable
me
to
help
students
see
beyond
their
community
and
expand
their
horizons.
While
my
experiences
are
described
in
my
resume,
what
it
doesnt
show
is
my
ability
to
build
positive
relationships
with
students
and
peers,
my
ability
to
create
developmentally
appropriate
and
engaging
lessons,
my
ability
to
continually
reflect
upon
my
practice
and
my
sincere
passion
to
learn
and
to
teach.
These
qualities
will
enable
me
to
collaborate
with
other
teachers
and
students.
I
would
like
to
interview
with
you
to
discuss
an
open
position,
and
will
accommodate
your
schedule.
You
may
contact
me
at
[email protected].
Thank
you
for
your
consideration.
Sincerely,
Sarah Dreger
