Alien

Kevin Claros awoke to a strange noise and saw his backyard lit up as if it were daytime by a thousand lights from a round shape stretching from his window to the apple tree. He was unsure whether to wake his family or if he was dreaming, so he slipped on shoes and a robe and sneaked out to his backyard where he could hear voices but couldn't understand what they were saying. The story is from the perspective of someone who witnessed aliens landing in their backyard late at night.

Aliens Land In My Backyard


The night was dark and cold when I was awaked by a strange
noise. I ran to my window and slowly drew back the curtain. I dont
know what I expected, but it sure wasnt what I saw. My backyard was
lit up by a thousand lights, as if it were daytime. I could see only the
outline of a round shape. It stretched from my
window to the apple tree, about 200 yards away. I
couldnt decide if I should wake my family. I
wanted to make sure I wasnt dreaming. Slipping on
shoes and a robe, I sneaked out my back door. I
could hear voices, but I couldnt understand what

1. Edit (spelling, punctuation, spacing, capitalization)
2. Change the font to Comic Sans, size 14.
3. Type this title Aliens Land in My Backyard
4. Center the title, then make it Bold, Red, and size 18
5. Underline the following words: strange, thousand, apple
6. Make the following words Italics: daytime, dreaming
7. Change spherical to round
8. Type your name 2 lines below the story and center it
9. Indent the paragraph
10. Add a picture from the Internet of an alien.
11. Save this document to your Computer Class folder in your H drive. Name it Aliens
