Aliens

A strange noise awakened the narrator late at night. Looking outside, the backyard was lit up as bright as day by thousands of lights from a round, spherical object stretching from the window to the apple tree. Unsure if dreaming, the narrator investigates and hears unintelligible voices but sees only an outline, leaving the events and discoveries of the next chapter unknown.

Aliens Land in My Backyard

The night was dark and cold when I was awakened by a strange
noise. I ran to my window and slowly drew back the curtain. I dont
know what I expected, but it sure wasnt what I saw? My backyard
was lit up by a thousand lights, as if it were daytime. I could see only
the outline of a round shape. It stretched from my window to the
apple tree, about 200 yards away. I couldnt decide if I should wake
my family. I wanted to make sure I wasnt dreaming. Slipping on shoes
and a robe, I sneaked out my back door. I could hear voices, but I
couldnt understand what they were saying. Stay tuned for the next
chapter.

2. Change the font to Comic Sans, size 14.

4. Center the title, then make it Bold, Red, and size 18
5. Underline the following words: strange, thousand, apple
6. Make the following words Italics: daytime, dreaming
7. Change spherical to round
8. Type your name 2 lines below the story and center it
9. Indent the paragraph
10. Add a picture from the Internet of an alien.
11. Save this document to your Computer Class folder in your H drive. Name it Aliens
