Comments:
Have a peaceful, relaxing Spring Break next week.
We begin taking the state testing the Tuesday after break. We know
that testing can be stressful for students. Please remind your child that
in order to perform their best, they need to be relaxed. Encourage
them to get enough sleep and eat a healthy breakfast in the morning.
The dates we will be tested are listed below. Please do your best to
reschedule any appointments so that your child is present for the
testing. Thank you to the classroom parents who have volunteered to
provide snacks for our testing days.
We will begin rehearsals for our musical on April 13th. If you get a
chance over break, help your child start learning their lines. The date
of the show is Thursday, May 14th. Please put our 7:00pm show on your
calendar. All students should attend.
This week has been my (Ms. George) last week acting as the main
teacher. After break, Ill have two more weeks in the classroom before I
graduate. I cant believe my time here is almost over!
Our class surpassed our goal for Math March Madness! Our class
average on our timed math fact tests is up to 90%. Even though March
is over, we will continue working to raise our average throughout the
year. Please have your child practice their facts at least once during
break so that we can continue seeing growth.
Calendar Reminders:
Mon. April 13
Safety Patrol: Keira and Luke
April 14, 15, 20, 21, 29
MSTEP Testing
Enjoy your weekend!
