25% of Cost - End of Detailed Engineering Stage 50% of Cost - End of Mechanical Completion Stage 25% of Cost - End of Commissioning Stage

The document discusses the design of a sour water stripping plant for a national refinery company. It will treat up to 115 cubic meters/hour of sour water to reduce ammonia and sulfur dioxide to levels of 10 and 50 ppm, respectively. The plant is designed to operate continuously on a 24/7 basis with a minimum lifespan of 5 years. Payments for the plant will be made in three stages - 25% after detailed engineering, 50% after mechanical completion, and 25% after commissioning. Further details on commercial terms and design basis can be found in separate proposal and design documents.

Will be specified in the commercial proposal document. We are expecting the total cost to be
paid in three breakups during various phase of project as specified below.

25% of cost End of detailed engineering stage

50% of cost End of mechanical completion stage
25% of cost End of commissioning stage what is the source of this, ususally sales people
keep lowest % for commissioning to avoid risk and get their money early.

BASIS OF DESIGN
The plant is designed treat up to 115 m 3/h and 2760 m3/ day of sour water. The amount of
NH3 and SO2 can be reduced to 10 ppm and 50 ppm respectively in the product stream. Thus our
design will be able to treat both VRP blend and Arabic light feed.
The battery limit start from feed to degasser drum and end at feed to Sulphur recovery
unit, Effluent treatment plant and stripped water to crude distillation unit. The sour water stripper
unit is designed for the following feed composition of stream

TRACES

The plant can be operated continuously on 24/7 basis and the unit is designed for a
minimum term of 5 years 15 -20 yrs. I have a document which has life of sws its 20yrs and on
stream factor of 8200 hour/year. For the further detail on basis of design the client can
