Project
Perform the project according the task listed below. Due dates are compulsory to be followed otherwise no mark will be given.
The project needs to be conducted in group of three students.

Reading and producing detail technical drawing according to the standard.
Analyzed detail drawing of assembles products as depicted in figure 1. Identify number of parts, part name,
standard part dimensions, fastener and GDT of the drawing. Then, you are need produce drawings as
follows:
a. Detail part drawing (multi-view) of each component. You may include sectional view if required. GDT
must be stated as needed.
b. Detail assembly drawing (multi-view). Include sectional view if required. Please include BOM in the
drawing. Use balloon to designate parts. Make sure all GDT is placed in the drawing. General note
can be used to define features.

Producing detail technical drawing form fabricated product.


Identify any product in the market in which meet the following requirement:
i. Consist of minimum 5 difference parts including standard parts. Duplicated parts are not count.
ii. The components must be in from of plastics, metals, ceramics or elastomers. Natural and organic
materials will not be accepted.
iii. Assembly method of the product must include fasteners such as bolt, nut, screw and rivet.
Then, you are need to measure your product using measuring tool and produce drawings as follows:
a. Detail part drawing (multi-view) of each component. You may include sectional view if required. GDT
must be stated as needed.
b. Detail assembly drawing (multi-view). Include sectional view if required. Please include BOM in the
drawing. Use balloon to designate parts. Make sure all GDT is placed in the drawing. General note
can be used to define features.

Technical drawings presentation.


Present your technical drawing in the following methods:
a. Plot (print) your drawings in standard A3 iso title block with all required information. Please include
all names of your group member in the title block.
b. Design and plot A1 size poster to present drawings produced from task A or B.
