The lesson plan spans several days and focuses on the Han Dynasty in China. On the first day, students will read sections of their textbook about the Han Dynasty aloud and discuss important points. They will learn about how the Han Dynasty expanded its empire and the political contributions that strengthened China. Later days involve group work where students research assigned topics to create posters and present their findings, showing how the Han Dynasty improved government, daily life, and influenced modern society. To assess learning, students will complete packet assignments, be evaluated on their posters, and take a test measuring their understanding of the Han Dynasty's lasting impacts.
