Thin Crust Spinach Pizza
Dough
1 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoons active dry yeast
1/8 teaspoon salt
cup warm water
tablespoon olive oil
tablespoon white sugar
Sauce
1 369 mL can tomato sauce (680 x 2 = 1.36) (369 x 3 = 1.1)
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon honey
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
teaspoon oregano
teaspoon marjoram
teaspoon basil
teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
salt to taste
Toppings
minced spinach
diced tomato
feta cheese
mozzarella cheese
1) Mix a little sugar into the warm water and sprinkle yeast on top.
2) Wait for 10 minutes or until it gets all foamy.
3) Pour into a large bowl and add flour, salt and olive oil.
4) Knead for 6-8 minutes until you have moderately stiff dough that is smooth and
elastic.
5) Cover and let rest for 20-30 minutes.
6) Mix together sauce ingredients and prepare toppings.
6) Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan and bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 10
to 20 minutes. Makes one 12-inch pizza.
