SCOPE:
The formulations of test methods, practices, guides, classificaitions, and terminology
relating to those materials generally considered to be in the field of commercial
refractory raw materials and products. The scope of the Committee shall also include the
promotion of knowledge relating to commerical refractory raw materials and products.
Primary responsibliites and activiites within the scope of the committee are assigned to
subcommittees whose titles indicate their areas of interest. The work of this Committee
will be coordinated with other ASTM committees and other organizations having
mutual interest.
