Itinerary for the Eight (8 ) days visit to Japan

Departure

from the

Philippines, usually scheduled in the afternoon

Day 1
Arrive Narita Airport, usually in the evening of the same day. Train
ride into Tokyo; check in to Hotel. Take a rest and prepare for the
tour the following day.
Day 2
Check out of the Hotel and board a Hikari bullet train from Shinagawa
Station to Kyoto Station. When travelling through Shizuoka we will
make sure to keep lookout for Mount Fuji in the distance.
After check in, commence exploring the sights of Japan's old capital
and board a Subway Karasuma Line train 2 stops to Shijo Station, well
go to the busiest shopping district in Kyoto and well go to the
cafes, restaurants, shops to explore.
From Shijo Station, well walk down to Nishiki Food Market so that we
can try various Japanese foods.
Day 3
We will visit Honganji Temple, noteworthy for its untypical
architecture;
Tsukiji market - the world's busiest seafood and produce market;
Then well ride the Water Bus up the Sumida River to Asakusa, where we
will join the throngs on Nakamise-dori shopping street which leads to
Senso-ji Temple, the oldest and most famous in Tokyo.
After allowing time for lunch in Asakusa we will rest briefly at our
Hotel.
Day 4
In the morning we will visit Meiji Shrine in its wooded, peaceful
setting,
Yoyogi Park, & Harajuku, one of Tokyo's most upscale neighborhoods.
After a break for lunch, we will continue exploring Omotesando-dori,
including the Oriental Bazaar, a great place for buying traditional
Japanese craft and gift items.
A short subway ride will bring us to Shibuya, starting our walking
tour at the famous statue of Hachiko, the loyal dog. After allowing
time for dinner we head back to our Hotel.
Day 5
We will begin the day with views of the public portion of the Imperial

Palace grounds, including a walk through the East Garden then we will
be back to the hotel to take rest.

Day 6
We will spend the morning steeped in history at Edo-Tokyo Museum and
Tokyo Reconstruction Museum then we will visit some nearby areas then
return back to our hotel.
Day 7
We will go to the ancient seaside town of Kamakura where we see
Tsurugaoka
Hachimangu Shrine; Hase-dera, with its unique nooks and
crannies; and the iconic Great Buddha. Then will also visit Chinatown
and the Moto-machi District then go back to our hotel.
Day 8
The morning will do final shopping or sightseeing; then it is time to
say good bye to head to Narita Airport to catch our late afternoon
flights back home to our country, The Philippines.
